10 Good Movies on Netflix (again)
Mia McKenna-Bruce in "How to Have Sex"

What’s the best way to fight back against a dictatorship? How about an ad campaign? I recently wrote up Pablo Larraín’s “No” (2012, ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 1/2), in which Gael Garcia Bernal plays the real-life advertising executive who oversaw a campaign to oust General Augusto Pinochet in a 1988 referendum. That post caught the attention of my friends at the West Newton Cinema, so now we’re showing it as the latest edition of Movie Club next Wednesday night, May 14, at 6:30 p.m., with a discussion afterwards that is sure to spill over to our current discontents and how best to deal with them. The movie’s surprisingly fun, if as pointed as Larraín can make it, which is very. See you there.
